Low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable materials refer to halogen-free (F, Cl, Br, I, At), environmentally friendly cables that do not contain lead, cadmium, chromium, mercury and other environmentally friendly materials, and will not cause harmful smoke when burned. There are many varieties, different practical applications, and different national standard parameters.

For example: 70℃ low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastic sheath material, used in optical cable and cable sheath layer, the maximum working temperature is 70℃.

The national standard parameters are as follows:

The thermal shrinkage test temperature of mechanical and physical properties is 100±2℃, the duration is 1 hour, and the shrinkage rate is 4%. Physical properties after heat aging: aging temperature is 100℃±2℃, duration is 16h, tensile strength is 7.9MPa, with large change rate, tensile strength is 3020~120MPa, with large change rate, density is provided by each manufacturer in each bid.
